On the last day of the association’s financial year 2016/17 the team at Landscape House is celebrating welcoming BALI’s 900th member.
This tops off an incredible, celebratory year, which included the 40th BALI National Landscape Awards – the largest ever, attended by 963 guests.
On being told that his company had helped BALI reach such an important milestone in its 45 year history, Tom Seward, owner of Newbury-based TS Landscapes, said: “I am delighted to have been awarded BALI Registered status as this is something I have strived to achieve for a long time now, and to hear that TS Landscapes is BALI’s 900th member is a bonus; well done BALI!”
He continued: “I wanted to join BALI not only to make use of the many benefits it offers but also as reassurance for our customers that we are a reputable company with very high standards.”
BALI’s wider membership is 1,723, making it by far the largest representative trade body for the landscape industry in the UK. Its size, the professional reputation of its Registered Members, and its collaborative work with other industry bodies on a raft of projects and initiatives, has resulted in it being Government’s first port of call on issues concerning the landscaping sector.
BALI’s Chief Executive Wayne Grills said: “BALI is going from strength to strength and its size and status ensures our members and the wider landscaping sector have a voice at a time of economic uncertainty. We will continue to serve our members to the best of our ability, supporting their businesses and helping to make sure they have access to skilled staff once our exit from the EU becomes a reality.
"I would like to thank the Landscape House team for their tremendous hard work in building the association’s membership to this point and for delivering an impressive range of membership benefits. Exciting times are ahead!”
