Citroën displays complete Dispatch van range at CV Show

Following the International launch of the Citroën Dispatch at the CV Show in 2016, Citroën will display Dispatch vans in all three available lengths at the CV Show this year, including the latest model to join the range, the Dispatch XL, displayed in Enterprise trim at the show.

The Dispatch XL joins the Dispatch XS and Dispatch M in the van range, providing a load floor length of 2,862mm, which can be extended to 4,024mm with the Moduwork bulkhead through-loading system and folding passenger seat.

The new Citroën Dispatch XL will accommodate up to three Europallets. Load volume measures 6.1m3 and will extend to 6.6m3 with Moduwork. Panel van payloads range between 1,247kg and 1,447kg, depending on the version, gross vehicle weight, and the engine and equipment chosen.

Dispatch XL panel vans are available with three gross weight options; 2,830kg, 3,000kg or 3,100kg. The maximum braked trailer weight capacity for Dispatch XL is 2,500kg. The rear doors can be opened to 250 degrees, improving access in tight spaces.

The Dispatch XL is available with up to five different engine and transmission options. BlueHDi 95 versions are powered by a 95hp 1.6-litre Euro-6 diesel engine equipped with a five-speed manual transmission.

The same engine can be specified with an ETG6 six-speed piloted manual transmission. A BlueHDi 120 variant is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel, equipped with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, as is the BlueHDi 150 model. The range-topping BlueHDi 180 engine, which is also a 2.0-litre, is equipped with a six-speed EAT6 automatic transmission as standard.

Like other Dispatch models, three equipment levels are available with XL variants; X, Enterprise and Enterprise Plus. All Dispatch vans are equipped as standard with ABS brakes, electronic stability control, emergency brake assist, ASR anti-skid control, Hill Assist, central locking with deadlocks, cruise control with programmable speed-limiter, driver and front passenger airbags, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB socket, and an audio jack.

Front electric windows, a driver’s seat with height and lumbar adjustment and a dual passenger bench seat complete the list of standard equipment.
