On the Doosan Construction Equipment stand (A65) at the 2014 Executive Hire Show (EHS) from 12-13 February 2014, visitors will be able to see the latest products for the plant and tool hire industry from the company's Bobcat, Doosan Portable Power and Attachment businesses.
The company will be showing the popular Bobcat E26 compact excavator, a compressor-generator (7/31G or 7/41G), a Montabert breaker and a selection of air-powered Doosan breakers and tools.
The 2.6 tonne zero tail swing E26 mini-excavator offers all the advantages of the E-generation of excavators from Bobcat, including high performance, stability, safety, operator comfort and durability. The E26 model is part of the Bobcat micro- and mini-excavator range from 1-3 tonne, which also includes the well-established E08, E10, E14, E16 and E25 models.
As well as smooth workgroup operation and superior hydraulic performance, the E26 excavator also offers low noise and vibration and optimised operating weight - the cabbed long arm version weighs just 2700 kg - allowing it to be transported by trailer.
Even though the E26 model has a zero tail swing design, the cab offers the highest comfort, visibility and space standards, with heating and radio/MP3 readiness as standard. The cab offers easy entry and exit for the operator and the design allows the door to be fully opened within the width of the upper structure.
The 7/31G and 7/41G compressor-generators supply 3.0 m3/min (105 cfm) and 4.0 m3/min (141 cfm), respectively, of compressed air at 7 bar (100 psig). Both incorporate a 6 kVA generator to meet a specific requirement in utility work, particularly in the gas and water industries, for a compressor-generator combination that provides both electrical power for lights, tools and fusion welding and compressed air for powering breakers and other pneumatic equipment.
As well as a full range of 24 different portable compressor models, with free air deliveries between 2 and 45 m³/min and operating pressures between 7 and 25 bar, Doosan Portable Power offers a comprehensive range of portable generators and lighting products for the plant and tool hire industry. Completing the line-up are construction tools such as air-powered chipping hammers, pickhammers, jackhammers and paving breakers for work in demolition, utilities, quarrying and industrial markets.
The stand display at EHS 2014 also features the Montabert range, offering tools for use on machines as diverse as compact loaders and 90 tonne excavators, with a comprehensive selection from hydraulic breakers to crusher buckets, covering every application in demolition and recycling from primary and secondary demolition to handling, sorting and recycling.
There are nine models in the Montabert Silver Clip hydraulic breaker range running from the 65 kg SC-6 model to the 500 kg SC-50 breaker for carriers ranging from 700 kg to 14 tonne.
