Wiedenmann UK has launched its quietest and most effective blower yet.
The new Mega Twister boasts a truly versatile 270° swivel action giving the operator infinite control. Swivelling 90° further than Wiedenmann's existing blower, the Whisper Twister, it can be adjusted in all directions.
Leaves and debris can be blown continuously in one direction with no requirement for the operator to leave the cab, back up or turn the unit round. The blow out nozzle can be set vertically, so that the air stream can be adjusted to the prevailing conditions guiding leaves and debris accurately and quickly.
Its patented "˜whisper' turbine gives out an impressive airflow of 390m³ per minute at 50m per second while keeping noise to a minimum. An innovatively side-routed airflow system operates with spent air discharged through a low level air vent, allowing the ground to absorb almost all of its noise. Combined, these two developments make the Mega Twister operate more quietly than any tractor. The Mega Twister therefore adds "no noise" and can work without restriction in sensitive areas such as hospitals, schools and residential sites.
It is especially suited to parkland areas and golf courses. Wiedenmann's German engineers have made sure the Mega Twister is as comfortable working on hilly areas as it on the level; its large support wheels float with the undulations of the ground. When dealing with hilly contours for example, the blowout nozzle can even be set vertically so it can be trained on "˜higher' targets so this new piece of kit truly offers a 3-D blowing range and capability.
