GPS-guided linemarking has further advanced with the announcement of the Generation 3 SWOZI from Vitax Supaturf.
The Supaturf SWOZI marked a quantum leap in the speed and efficiency of linemarking, with turfcare professionals able to mark out a football pitch in an average time of just 30 minutes.
The technology already allows sports contractors and site-based grounds professionals to mark out far more pitches in a day than when using traditional machines.
Generation 3 SWOZI features upgraded control system, electronics and communications, using a Windows-based app now ported to Android,
introducing variable or constant rate paint outflow to give users more flexible work patterns.
The new terrain compensation module (TCM) boosts line quality and further eases marking out, while strip mowing is now available through the Android app store for loading on to the rugged, waterproof Samsung Galaxy Active 8-inch IP67 display tablet fitted to the latest version.
Users can now swap seamlessly between GPS with SWOZI RTK base to RTK app or to laser tracker without changing equipment or hardware.
