The new Koro TopDrain 1000 is available now from Campey Turf Care Systems and has been specifically designed for sports pitches and golf course fairways.
The TopDrain 1000 model joins the successful 1500 machine that harnessed the unique function of trenching, removing spoil, injecting sand and re-compacting the surface all in one operation.
It also offers material and labour savings, faster processing times and less contamination than conventional methods.
Both Campey and Koro (manufactured by Imants BV) have a commitment to listen to their customers, and this has resulted in a smaller one-meter machine being produced. Although smaller, there has been no compromise in quality, 1,000kg lighter (unladen) causing less surface compaction, and requires less tractor power to operate.
The sand grid created by the TopDrain is meant to complement existing drainage systems, and has been very successful working on football pitches, rugby pitches, golf courses and horse racing tracks.
The Koro TopDrain 1000 will shortly be touring the UK and Ireland on a series of special demonstration days. Alternatively, it will be on display at IOG SALTEX 2017 at the NEC Birmingham, stand D117.
