The main benefits of
the autonomous BigMow lawnmower is that it is vastly different from the
traditional classical lawnmower. Traditional mowers tend to be heavy, noisy,
polluting and require manual operation, the robotic mower is the opposite to
this by being lightweight, quiet, environmentally friendly and autonomous.
This makes the
BigMow robot an unrivalled champion for grass areas. The mower can cover up to
2 hectares (20,000 m2 ), making it ideal for sports fields, golf courses,
public areas and public or private parks, etc. The robot uses an underground
wired perimeter for navigating; this sends an electromagnetic signal recognised
by the robot, via a sensor, that determines its distance from the edge of the
grass area.
BigMow has a total
of 15 cutting blades all sharp as a scalpel, that pulverise the grass into very
fine particles. This mulching technique is how they produce the perfect cut
that creates healthier, greener grass areas along with other benefits.
The mower can
operate day and night, provides the perfect cut with minimal human
