Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc and the Ipswich-based distributor of Iseki compact tractors and mowers, has showcased the new Iseki TLE4490 tractor for the first time at SALTEX.
The recently launched TLE4490 is the latest addition to the Iseki premium economy range of compact tractors after last year’s launch of the TLE3400.
It features a powerful 48hp 2197cc, four-cylinder diesel engine and an eight forward, eight reverse synchro shuttle transmission. This combination makes the TLE4490 perfect for a range of applications including turf maintenance, landscaping and light agricultural use.
“The TLE4490 is a fantastic addition to the Iseki product range,” Textron Specialized Vehicles Product Manager Richard Tyrrell, said. “It is already proving to be a popular choice for many sports clubs and small holdings. The controls are easy to navigate and the three-point linkage with 1,200kg capacity at ball ends provides fantastic options for attaching a range of implements.
“East Grinstead Rugby Club was the first to purchase an Iseki TLE4490 earlier in the year, and the feedback received from the operator at the club was overwhelmingly positive. Iseki has been designing and manufacturing tractors for more than 90 years, and the quality and usability of the products really reflects this.”
The TLE4490 features a wide full-flat floor, providing superb access and comfort during operation. Built with operator comfort in mind, the platform is mounted on four floating rubber insulators to minimise noise and vibration to provide a smoother, pleasant ride for operators.
The contemporary styling of the TLE4490 is complimented by the new one-piece bonnet which can be fully opened using a simple tool, conforming to the new tractor homologation. There is a 540rpm rear PTO and remote PTO start/stop mounted on the rear fender as standard for ease of operation. The option to include a 2000rpm mid PTO and a second additional auxiliary valve is also available (1 auxiliary valve fitted as standard).
Implements such as front-end loaders and front linkages can be easily installed on the TLE4490. A hydraulic port located in the middle of the tractor and loader fixing mounts are equipped as standard.
