The latest company to be acquired by leading landscape supplier,
Green-tech, is Flexible Lining Products (FLP).
Founded over 15 years ago, FLP is one of the largest online
retailers of pond liners and geotextiles in the industry.
The acquisition is a perfect fit for Green-tech and offers
complementary products to the 6,500 product lines Green-tech currently stocks,
equipping their loyal customer base with access to a broader scope of supplies
for their projects.
The FLP product range covers the areas of pond and lake excavation
products, geotextiles and geomembranes, erosion control aids and ground
reinforcement products.
FLP is the specialist online distributor of Terram, the market
leader in the design and manufacturer of innovative geosynthetics including
geocomposites, geotextiles and geocells. Through a programme of continuous
product development, Terram provides a unique range of value-engineered
solutions that also help minimise the environmental impact of construction.
The acquisition was part of Green-tech’s ambitious expansion plans.
The business is seeing record year on year growth overall, particularly within
its tree planting and Green-tree soil product sectors. The re-structure of the
sales team last year has seen an increase in head count, plus Green-tech’s new
home at Rabbit Hill Business Park is providing much needed additional warehouse
space and improved links to the motorway network to support this recent
acquisition.
