Johnsons of Whixley, one of the
UK’s leading commercial nurseries, has teamed up with Sheffield firm Spa
Landscaping Ltd to enhance the grounds of the Leicester Costco site.
Johnsons supplied plants worth more
than £9,000 to the scheme, including 345 5L Carpinus Betulus and 100 10L
Grisellina Littoralis that were used for hedging.
A further 1,000 shrubs and seven
Tilla Cordata ‘Greenspire’ rootball trees were included in the supply.
Works completed by Spa Landscaping
included topsoil amelioration and installation, soft landscaping and tree
planting. The company has worked on seven of Costco’s UK sites since 2016.

Costco is one of the best-known
names in trade retailing, with 770 shops worldwide and 28 in the UK.
