The new
Kubota 62hp L2602 features the HST Plus, designed to provide optimal
control and easy operation of both the hydraulic pump and the drive motor.
In
addition to three range shift speeds, Kubota’s HST Plus includes a lever to
shift between high and low speeds in each range, giving six speeds in total.
There is also the option to set up automatic Hi/Lo shifting between the high
and low speeds whilst on the move.
The
new Auto Throttle Advance feature links the HST pedal and the engine
throttle, synchronising tractor speed and engine revs. This not only makes the
tractor easier to operate but also helps reduce fuel consumption – all the
operator needs to do to control tractor speed and engine revs is to depress the
HST pedal.
There is
also a load sensing feature on the transmission. If it detects a drop in
engine RPM, it will automatically regulate HST pump and motor activity. With
three modes to choose from, transmission operation can be adjusted to the task
in hand by depressing a button to select the next mode.
Standard
specification includes a premium cab with deluxe suspension seat,12V
charging socket, power steering and the Intellipanel LED screen providing
operational information. There is a range of loaders to match L2 tractors.
