Alice Holt is a Forestry Commission site based in Farnham, offering picturesque walks, a coffee shop, a Stickman trail, as well as a Go Ape climbing course.
In late 2015, eibe competed in a tender process and were delighted to be awarded the scheme for development in the spring of this year.
Alice Holt Visitor Centre Manager, Julian Williams, wanted a natural-looking balancing course to resemble and complement the existing Go Ape set-up.
It was important that the new play area catered for everyone from toddlers to young teenagers - between ages 5 - 14. The adventure course itself is highly challenging and features various high and low rope structures, some bold towers, ladders, slides and complex crosses. eibe believes it might be very busy come the summer holidays.
One of the key factors for Julian and his team was that the children could get from one end of the equipment to the other, without touching the ground – one seamless transition across the installed units. This eibe have achieved with a really stand-out bespoke product.
The playground was offically opended at the beginning of May.
