Ninth annual UK Lawn Care Association conference was a resounding success

The UK Lawn Care Association has held its ninth annual conference and declared that the two-day event was quite possibly their best ever.

Over 100 delegates from around the UK, spent a busy couple of days at Tewkesbury Park in Gloucestershire, where they enjoyed a varied and informative seminar programme, a series of practical workshops and ample opportunities for networking.

The event was also attended by many of the organisations’ sponsors who not only engaged in the seminars and events, they kindly took the time to answer questions about their products and services. Networking between delegates and sponsors was enthusiastic and resulted in several ‘conference deals’ being completed.

Tom Arnold, current Chairman of the UKLCA said “It was great to see so many representatives of independent lawn care businesses all together in one place. The atmosphere throughout the two days was buzzing and we had some tremendous feedback about the quality of the speakers.” Tom added “Here at the UKLCA we aim to support our members in ways that enable them to grow strong, profitable and reputable businesses whilst fully respecting the environment. We actively encourage members to share knowledge and expertise, and to make the most of the all the benefits of UKLCA membership.

The UK Lawn Care Association (UKLCA) is a not-for-profit voluntary association created by independent UK lawn care companies for independent operators who are committed to providing the best quality and highest level of lawn care service. For a modest subscription, UKLCA membership brings a range of benefits and opportunities including shared knowledge and expertise, a free Health and Safety support line, downloadable polices and procedure documents, and so much more.

The next in-person UKLCA event will be the Summer Festival. This is a one day event, held in June and offers machinery demonstrations, a seminar programme and plenty of valuable networking opportunities.

If you would like to join the UKLCA either as a member or as a sponsor, please visit their website at uklawncare.net for more information.
