The GMA has confirmed that its flagship celebration of the industry - the GMA Industry Awards - will return on Thursday 12 March 2026, hosted at the iconic Edgbaston Stadium, home of Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
Now in its 15th edition, the awards champion the very best in grounds care including everyone from grassroots volunteers to top-tier professionals, recognising the individuals and grounds teams who power sport at every level.
First launched in 2009, the awards have become a much-anticipated fixture in the grounds management calendar. Having previously been held at standout venues including Headingley Stadium and Anfield, and formerly a centrepiece at SALTEX, the 2026 ceremony promises another unmissable evening of celebration.
Geoff Webb, CEO of the Grounds Management Association, said: “The Industry Awards are all about celebrating the people who make sport possible, often behind the scenes. Whether it’s a volunteer at a local club or a head groundsperson at a major venue, these are the people driving standards across the sector.
“Edgbaston’s the perfect setting for what’s always a brilliant night, and we can’t wait to bring everyone together and recognise another year of outstanding work.”
