The new Birkdale Terra Shield Pro system is a purpose-built and practical means of managing soil and level changes between boundaries and properties.
Combining two tasks in one modern retainment fencing solution, it comprises the easy to install and robust Commercial DuraPost fence posts and the unique DuraPost Z-boards, to create a strong, stable and attractive installation that will last.
An all-in-one solution, Birkdale Terra Sheild Pro provides a simple and cost-effective alternative to installing a fencing system above a brick retaining wall.
Designed with high quality materials to offer strength and durability, Commercial DuraPost fence posts are constructed from cold rolled pre-galvanised steel and the DuraPost Z-board from GFRP - a high-quality composite with excellent UV resistance. Both materials offer high mechanical strength, corrosion and impact resistance.
The unique Z-boards are used to create the retainment height required, and these slot easily into the Commercial DuraPost before the fencing panel of choice is installed. Z-Board fixing spacers are an optional product and can be slotted onto either end, providing a good surface to fix to, and adding further stability. In addition, depending on ground conditions, a damp-proof membrane can also be lapped between the retained earth and the Z-boards, reducing the risk of water run-off and weed growth.
