In its 2024/2025 Annual Review, the Land Trust reflects on a year marked by progress and forward-thinking vision.
Not only does it celebrate the achievements of the past year, but in the year the Land Trust turned 20 years old, it also looked ahead with the Tomorrow’s World report, asking: What does the future hold for community, health, the environment, and the Land Trust itself?
In 2024/25, the organisation delivered an estimated £76.9 million in social value across its portfolio, representing a substantial 98% increase compared to 2023/24. With stewardship of over 2,500 hectares of land, the sites continue to generate significant benefits for the communities they serve, all supported by a robust investment portfolio of £196.2 million.

Throughout 2024/25, the Land Trust placed a stronger emphasis on driving charitable delivery, especially for those living on and around service charge funded sites. These locations have become central to the broader charitable mission, serving as vibrant hubs for health and community engagement.
Notably, it observed a significant rise in organised health activities, with the Green Angels courses expanding to more service charge funded sites. This growth was complemented by an increase in one-off community events, further underscoring our commitment to making these spaces accessible and beneficial for all.
The ongoing work to position sites as health and community centers is a testament to the dedication of its teams and partners.
As it looks to the future, the Land Trust remains committed to fostering steady growth and maximising the positive impact of our green spaces.
The consistent progress across key areas demonstrates the vital role sites play in enhancing wellbeing, supporting local communities, and protecting the environment.
The Land Trust is excited to continue this journey, working collaboratively to ensure that spaces not only reflect the successes of today but also inspire the possibilities of tomorrow. The Annual Review and Tomorrow’s World report invite everyone to help shape a future where community, health, and the environment thrive together.
