Polaris Off Road announces the arrival of the RANGER 500 in Europe, expanding its RANGER lineup with a compact and capable utility side-by-side designed to make work easier and ownership more accessible.
Launched in North America last year, the RANGER 500 now brings its proven performance to European customers under the philosophy of “Right Tool, Right Price”, backed by Polaris’ 70-years of powersport innovation.
Built to deliver value and versatility, the RANGER 500 combines trusted Polaris engineering with intuitive usability and essential work-ready features to help make outdoor chores easier. Whether maintaining land, managing livestock, or tackling jobs around small to medium-sized properties, it offers a practical and approachable solution for a wide range of new and existing UTV owners.

“We’ve seen strong demand for the RANGER 500 from customers who value a dependable, easy‑to‑use machine at an accessible price,” said Chris Judson, Vice President, Polaris Off Road Vehicles, International. “Expanding this proven model into Europe allows us to meet more customers where they are, with a straightforward mid‑size utility vehicle that delivers trusted capability, real value and the off‑road performance Polaris is known for.”
Enhancements and key features of the RANGER 500 include:
Designed with practicality at its core, the RANGER 500 is built to support a wide range of everyday tasks with minimal effort. Its compact size and responsive handling make it particularly well-suited to properties where space is limited, but productivity is essential.
Polaris’ ProStar 567cc engine focuses on low-end torque for smooth, controlled power delivery when towing equipment or carrying heavy loads, paired with the Polaris CVT transmission, for consistent performance in all working conditions.
The RANGER 500 is equipped with a gas-assist tipping cargo bed capable of carrying up to 227kg – a practical alternative to manual handling tasks. Combined with its 680kg towing capacity, it is well-equipped to manage a variety of maintenance jobs.
Ease of use is central to the RANGER 500’s design with intuitive controls and a straightforward drive system, making it accessible even for first-time UTV owners. Maintenance is also simple, with easily-accessible service points to help reduce downtime, backed by a 2-year warranty as standard.
Shaped by real-world customer needs, RANGER 500’s standard features include a factory-installed roof, LED headlights, and a front-mounted 1,134kg winch, so the RANGER 500 is ready to work straight from the dealership.
For extra customisation, an assortment of accessories is available, such as a front windshield and rear panel*, extra lighting options using Polaris’ easy-to-use plug-and-play Pulse system, and storage solutions in collaboration with Kolpin Outdoors. A chassis-integrated plow mount plate adds year-round utility for snow removal or landscaping.
