Lantra has unveiled a bold new brand, marking a meaningful step forward in its mission to support skills, standards and careers across the land-based and environment sectors.
The refreshed brand reflects Lantra’s renewed focus and long-standing purpose: improving skills, raising standards and recognising achievement of those working in the sector.
At the heart of the new identity is the simple but powerful statement: “Land. Skills. Futures.” capturing the breadth of Lantra’s work and its commitment to both people and the planet.
Lantra is a charitable, non-profit awarding body that develops training and qualifications, as well as investing in research and advocacy for the benefit of the sectors it serves. The new brand has been developed to better reflect this role; combining clarity, confidence and a practical hands-on approach.

Daisy Hooper, Director of Policy, Research, and External Relations at Lantra said: “This new brand reflects who we are and the new bold direction we are moving forward with in the future.
“As Lantra begins to celebrate its 60th anniversary this year, our new brand reinforces our commitment to the people and organisations we work with every day, while ensuring we are well positioned to support the future of the land-based and environmental sectors.”
Recognising the scale and importance of its network, Lantra is implementing a structured six-month transition period to allow partners, providers and stakeholders to adopt the new brand at a manageable pace.
Over the six-month period, changes will be implemented with partners. The nature of Lantra’s work, and the transition period, means there will be a dual-branding approach as updates and changes are made.
Importantly, Learners certificates and skills cards will remain valid and recognised throughout the rollout.
Reassurance and continuity remain at the core of Lantra’s brand transition. There will be no changes to the qualifications, standards or services that partners and learners rely on, and all existing regulatory compliance and recognition will continue as before.
Importantly, Lantra’s valued training, qualifications, and support structures will remain firmly in place, ensuring continuity, stability and ongoing confidence throughout the transition to the new brand.
