The Horticultural Trades Association (HTA) has announced an expanded exhibitor line-up at FutureGrow Expo 2026: Nursery of the Future, showcasing the latest technology and groundbreaking research.
With tickets costing just £10 plus VAT, more growers from across the UK will be able to access the vital knowledge, innovation and connections this specialist industry event offers.
On Tuesday 6 October at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, technologists, researchers, and growers will come together under one roof to focus on emerging technologies in ornamental horticulture that will be crucial to businesses' competitiveness.
Visitors can explore future developments in plant and tree production, see live demonstrations of innovative equipment, and learn about next-generation solutions for commercial UK growers in the R&D hub.
Thanks to funding from the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board’s (AHDB) Horticulture Grant Scheme – the means by which historic levy payments are being used for projects to benefit growers – the HTA is able to reduce ticket prices to just £10 plus VAT per delegate.

When we held this event two years ago, it was a game-changer for the industry. Our goal is to inspire growers to create the nurseries of the future, so we have built on that success and will once again showcase cutting-edge technologies that continue to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the horticultural sector.”
Exhibitors and demonstrations include:
- Aero-Crop Solutions – will display the XAG P100 Pro agricultural drone fully unfolded (measuring approximately 3m diagonally). Videos will also show the drone in operation.
- Cordon Technologies – will demonstrate the mixing and dosing capabilities of the Loop, a spray system that mixes solid and liquid plant protection products and fertilisers in real time and precisely regulates spray pressure and flow. TV screens will also show how the prescription mapping, GPS, and dosing work.
- Earth Rover Ltd – will present CLAWS (Concentrated Light Autonomous Weeding and Scouting). This cutting-edge robot can identify and precisely target even the smallest of weeds with a short pulse of concentrated light, without harming the surrounding crop or soil. It collects real-time crop data and sends it to its Farm Control System for grower decision-making. Videos will show CLAWS weeding operations in Tree seedlings and other crops.
- Kirkland UK, Griffins Farm – will showcase the innovative BURRO Autonomous Cart and the RootWave Electric Weeder. BURRO is an autonomous load-carrying platform designed to reduce manual handling and increase productivity, while RootWave offers a chemical-free solution for weed control using high-frequency electricity, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional herbicides.
- The Weird Gripper Company - is developing robotic gripping technology for products that conventional vacuum and finger grippers can struggle to handle. The company will showcase its specialist gripper and share examples of how it can be used to handle challenging products and packaging formats found across horticulture and fresh produce supply chains.
