Rigby Taylor is able to confirm that Chikara has the label addition for use in shrub beds and around amenity vegetation.
Chikara contains the active ingredient flazasulfuron and is well established as a key product for residual total weed control management. The addition of shrub bed use to the label will enable parks and other grounds maintenance organisations to combine efficient delivery of low active ingredient with effective and long lasting residual weed control around amenity vegetation.
“The Industry has been crying out for an effective product for use in shrub beds” Says Peter Corbett Chemical Manager of Rigby Taylor. “We are delighted to now offer a highly cost effective solution to help manage weed control in such situations. Chikara will fill the void left by the regulatory loss of products such as Casoron G (dichlobenil), Ronstarl (oxadiazon) plus a number of others.”
Chikara, either on its own or in tank mixture with glyphosate formulations such as Mascot Hi-Aktiv or Trustee will deliver season-long weed control across a wide range of porous surfaces, including gravel car parks, around street furniture, along fence lines, kerb edges and much more. Chikara is available in 50 and 150 gram packs.
