Profihopper SmartCut

The unique AMAZONE Profihopper SmartCut, is five machines in one and there's no doubting its versatility. It can mow, scarify, collect, mulch and roll. Be it grass, litter, spring bulbs, hedge cuttings, it will clear it all - in any weather.

Now with three models to choose from - the ZDrive, the iDrive and the 4WDi; there's a version that will suit your application. The zDrive maintains a lever-steer PH as for many areas, a true zero turn is needed for maximum manoeuvrability.

The iDrive and 4WDi models come complete with steering wheel yet still offer a 0-radius turn through their unique combination of front wheel hydrostatic drive control, with a rear steering system. The angle of the steering wheel sets the amount of oil fed to each individual front wheel motor, pushing the machine around in a turning circle of virtually nothing. This gives the intuitive feel of a steering wheel instead of levers.

4WDi's rear wheels are also driven, but only when additional traction is demanded - hence the term 'i' for intelligent. On steeper terrain or in wet, slippery conditions, the rear wheels help to propel the machine, preventing unnecessary scuff marks whilst turning. Now with ROPS protection and seat belt, it allows the Profihopper to go where no other PH has gone before.

The new Profihopper SmartCut range features an intuitive rotor in the high-capacity PowerCompactor cutting deck.
SmartCut means the cutting blades are arranged in a spiral layout, designed to bring material in from the end of the rotor towards the centre; clearing the cuttings away in the auger conveyor system. It's this auger conveyor system that makes the Profihopper unique and with new SmartCut technology, its capacity has been dramatically increased for faster cutting speeds plus the ability to pick up wet, shorter grass cleanly. The high-tip system comfortably clears 2.1m or tips cuttings into a large bag.

SmartCut still features a simple drive-line, over-strength chassis and engine mountings; vandal-proof diesel tank and automatic radiator cleaning - all as standard. Not to mention rake and reach adjustment on the steering wheel, ergonomic dashboard layout and control panel and handbrake... the list is endless. But the fundamental principle of the Profihopper SmartCut remains unchanged: it's the unique tool for any season.

'Make the Profihopper SmartCut your choice when it comes to green space management.
