Lastec is the company that revolutionized the turf industry with the introduction of the Articulator over 25 years ago.
Prior to its introduction wide area mowers used 72” (1.8mtr) or wider rigid decks that scalped and missed grass on contoured ground.
Articulators use multiple rotary decks that individually follow the contours of the ground with cutting widths up to 11 feet (3.3m) that mow grass with the accuracy of a small push mower.
Today, every major manufacturer has followed Lastec’s lead by offering their own version of an articulating rotary, but since articulating rotary mowers are Lastec’s only product line, the company’s focus allows it to maintain our lead in this unique product market.
Articulating deck mowers aren’t a new concept for Lastec, but for the first time in the commercial mower market Lastec is now able to compete with the fixed deck mowers with a much more competitive price.
Lastec has duplicated the same articulator qualities that everybody knows and loves into a smaller deck, which is available in a 61”(1.54M) cut and a 73”(1.85M) cut. Lastec’s quality product and service have always been superior in this industry and will continue with the commercial line.
