ISEKI UK supplies the Raymo electrically powered remote-control mower, designed with a low overall height of 51cm which together with a low centre of gravity, 4WD, and a zero-turn steering system allow it to tackle steep slopes, grassed banks and low obstacles with ease.
It is mounted on a wheeled chassis which allows it to ‘crab’ on slopes with a choice of turf, all-terrain or flexi-spike wheels to minimise ground impact.
The lithium-ion 50.4 V power-pack comes in an easy to swap cartridge and can be charged in as little as three hours.
The operator controls the Raymo via an industrial-grade remote control, so is kept away from hazards such as slopes, deep water etc.
Three rotary decks are available depending upon the type of grass to be maintained.
The R48CRAFT 1.2m swing blade deck was designed specifically for rough municipal mowing and for vegetation control in solar farms where contact with the PV panel supporting structure is a threat. The cutting deck is protected by a robust steel frame with nylon bumpers and features suspended caster wheels that absorb excessive vibration in undulating terrain. Height of cut from 60-140 mm can be adjusted via pins that are secured against loss in high vibration conditions.
The R42FLEX 1.05m and R52TURF 1.32m decks are multi-purpose units which may be used with the supplied mulching insert for a finer finish.
For wildflower and biodiversity applications, the S46FLORIS cutting bar can be supplied in a single action (more robust) or dual action (faster) version.
A new option is the R14SFINX swing arm post mower which attaches to the side of the Raymo and allows posts, trees, solar panel supports and similar obstacles to cut around. In open areas it increases the cutting width of the Raymo but will then retract automatically when it encounters a post or tree.
