Husqvarna, a global leader in robotic lawn care, unveils four new out-of-the-box-ready robotic mowers for homeowners with mid-sized gardens: 405VE, 410VE, 430V, and 450V.
These new models are the first Husqvarna robotic mowers to feature built-in AI vision technology - making lawn care easier and more intelligent than ever before.
Like all Husqvarna robotic mowers, the new models offer high performance and quality and are designed to deliver a tailor-made mowing experience with advanced features that adapt to user needs and simplify everyday life. Husqvarna is now also giving lawn care a smarter set of eyes by equipping all the new models with built-in AI vision technology.
The technology enables the new robotic mowers to see, understand and act based on the world around them. Whether it’s a football left on the grass, a picnic blanket or a visiting hedgehog at night.
For over 30 years, Husqvarna has been at the forefront of robotic mowing. The new Husqvarna Automower NERA models are not only built to last and designed to perform - they also mark the beginning of a new era in Husqvarna Automower lawn care, powered by AI vision technology that sees, acts and adapts in real time, says Jonas Elderstiern, Product Manager at Husqvarna.
The built-in AI vision technology also helps the mower to avoid objects on the lawn and thereby reduces the risk of unplanned stops. The IR-camera enables this technology to also work during nighttime, ensuring precise cutting and consideration of wildlife. Combining AI vision technology with Husqvarna EPOS, the mower can work seamlessly in spots with poor reception, ensuring consistent cutting quality across the entire lawn.
But seeing your lawn doesn’t mean seeing you. To the robotic mower, people are just a background detail. Images are processed inside the mower and never stored or shared. Data leaving the mower is stored in Europe in accordance with applicable laws.
The convenient wire-free installation with EPOS via Husqvarna Cloud*(included at no extra cost) enables the mowers to work within virtual boundaries, making it easy to decide when, where and how to cut - without the need for a local reference station. Featuring both random and pattern mowing, the robotic mowers allow the user to choose from a variety of patterns (stripes, checkerboard and triangles) all while maintaining an even lawn. All of this can be controlled from the Automower Connect smartphone app. And just as easily, temporary stay-out zones can be created for seasonal flowers or garden project areas.
The new 405VE and 410VE models are developed for lawns ranging from 900m2 to 1500m2, while the 430V and 450V models are suitable for larger and more complex lawns up to 7500m2. The 405VE and 410VE models also come with the convenient EdgeCut feature, which minimises the need to trim the lawn edges, saving both time and effort.
