Dennis Mowers, part of the Howardson Group, presented its latest innovations and contributed to the educational programme at GroundsFest 2025, held on the 9th and 10th of September at Stoneleigh Park.
With an expanding audience and an energetic format, GroundsFest once again proved its value as one of the UK’s leading events for grounds care professionals.
The show brought together turf experts from across sport, education and amenity, with live demonstrations, product showcases and a busy seminar programme.
Located indoors on Stand 50 in Hall 1, Dennis showcased a comprehensive range of professional turf care equipment, highlighted by the introduction of the new ES-34SL lightweight stadium mower.
Developed through feedback from grounds professionals and building on Dennis’ trusted design heritage, the ES-34SL combines precision and durability with a lighter, more agile frame.
Designed specifically for stadium groundskeepers, it offers consistent presentation with enhanced manoeuvrability and operator comfort.
With over 100 years of engineering experience, Dennis Mowers are trusted worldwide, from leading stadiums to grassroots facilities in football, rugby, cricket and golf.
Made in Britain, the company’s machines are recognised for their reliability, performance and build quality.
At GroundsFest, visitors explored a full line-up of Dennis equipment designed to meet the diverse requirements of sports turf professionals, including:
The E-Series battery-powered range was also on display, featuring low-noise, low-vibration technology designed to improve efficiency, operator experience and environmental performance.
Education played a central role in Dennis’ contribution to GroundsFest. Jason Briggs, Regional Sales Manager, delivered a session titled Maximising Efficiency with Precision Mowing, covering practical advice on cylinder set-up and backlapping; and how the latest mower innovations can enhance turf quality and operational productivity.
“The energy and enthusiasm from visitors at GroundsFest were fantastic,” said Jason Briggs. “People were especially keen to learn about the new ES-34SL and how it can improve their mowing efficiency and finish quality. What stood out this year was how keen attendees were to gain practical knowledge they could put into practice immediately.”
Meanwhile, Ewen Wilson, Regional Sales Manager, contributed to the educational programme with his seminar Aeration: The Art of Annoyance and Excellence, offering insights into fine turf aeration for bowling greens and sharing practical advice on balancing short-term disruption with long-term turf health. “It was great to see such strong engagement in the seminar sessions,” he commented. “The questions and conversations showed just how eager people are to understand the long-term value of aeration.”
Darren McMahon, Head of Marketing at Howardson Group, added: “GroundsFest is a vital platform for us to engage directly with turf care professionals, share innovations and listen to their evolving challenges. The insights we gain help us refine our products and strengthen our commitment to innovation, education and customer support.”
Dennis Mowers extends its thanks to everyone who visited Stand 50, attended the educational sessions and engaged with the team during GroundsFest 2025. The enthusiasm and expertise of turf professionals continue to shape the company’s commitment to reliability, quality and customer support.
