Finalists announced for the Operation Pollinator Award 2026

The finalists of this year's Syngenta Operation Pollinator Award have been announced.

Celebrating their outstanding success in managing their golf course alongside creating and enhancing ecological features the finalists are, in alphabetical order: Carnoustie Golf Links, Angus; Lewes Golf Club, Sussex; North Hants Golf Club, Hampshire; and Pycombe Golf Club, Sussex.

With final judging led by STRI environmental biologist, Stella Rixon, along with last year's winner, Melisa Winkworth of Goring & Streatley Golf Club; Zoƫ Wright of BIGGA and Sarah Hughes, Syngenta Turf Business Manager, the overall winner will be announced at the BIGGA Awards Ceremony during BTME.

Stella also pointed out the very high calibre of the course which entered the Operation Pollinator Award this year, with seven other golf clubs and sports facilities within just three points of reaching the finalists and Highly Commended by the judges for their work.

The overall winner of the Syngenta operation Pollinator Award will be announced at the BIGGA Awards Ceremony during BTME on Tuesday 20 January 2026.
