This Technical Brochure takes the following issues into account: The experience and knowledge of the Optigreen Group; the tried and tested Optigreen product and system solutions; the requirements of the green roof guidelines of the FLL (Landscape research, development and construction association – Forschungsgesellschaft Landschaftsentwicklung Landschaftsbau e.V.) and in the UK the GRO Code of Practice (Green Roof Organisation).

This does not, however, remove the obligation to inform oneself about the current technical state of structures and to apply any additional guidelines, standards and legislative requirements that are needed.

As our experience relates primarily to Central Europe and the United Kingdom, for countries outside of this region other planning requirements must be adhered to.
