Perennial’s 2017 Special Events programme bolstered by Hartley Botanic sponsorship

Perennial’s 2017 line up of private garden tours, lectures and special events has been bolstered this month by a new raft of dates and a major headline sponsorship agreement. Hartley Botanic has agreed a 2017 sponsorship deal to fund the production of marketing materials and help to spread the word about Perennial’s annual programme of events. From an exclusive tour and dinner at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, which features a fabulous Hartley Botanic greenhouse, to an evening with multi-award winning designer Roger Platts in his private garden and nursery, the Perennial Special Events programme has something for everyone who loves gardens and gardening.

Speaking about the company’s support of Perennial, Hartley Botanic’s MD Tom Barry and Chairman Martin Toogood, said,

“Hartley Botanic is a huge admirer of Perennial’s work for horticulturists and we have watched with interest over the past few years as the charity has grown in confidence and stature across the industry. We are delighted that Hartley Botanic is supporting the charity in 2017 and am thrilled with our association with the 2017 Special Events programme, a wonderful selection of garden based events that offer garden lovers a unique experience while supporting the work of Perennial. It’s a winning combination!”

Perennial has long been associated with the great country houses and gardens of Great Britain, having been established by a group of philanthropic land owners as a pension scheme for retired gardeners. Its annual Special Events programme reflects its continued support from garden owners large and small.

Chris Crooker, Events Manager at Perennial, says,

“Each year we strive to offer a real mix of events for our supporters and this year we are thrilled with the selection on offer. Hartley Botanic’s generous sponsorship has allowed us to produce information about the programme and secure earlier booking than ever before. We know that awareness and support of Perennial is growing year-on-year and the quality of the 2017 Special Events programme – made possible thanks to the generous support of garden owners, Head Gardeners and designers – is testament to that.”

Perennial relies on the support of the UK horticulture industry and all those who loves gardens and gardening to continue its work. Perennial offers free and confidential advice, support and financial assistance to all those who work in or are retired from horticulture. Go to the website to see the full range of Special Events.
