A-Plant has vastly enhanced its fleet of Portable Air Compressors and Generators by placing an order with Doosan for almost 500 machines valued at over £4 million.
This is the largest single order that A-Plant has ever placed with Doosan and the new machines are currently being delivered to A-Plant Service Centres throughout the UK.
The order covers a wide range of Doosan equipment, including Compressors which supply compressed air from 260 - 400cfm, as well as single-tool and two-tool Compressor Generators. Within the order are two types of innovative Stage IIIB compliant Portable Air Compressors - the 7/73 and 10/110 models. Both models have a brand new "˜Dual Mode' feature which provides a "˜two-in-one' solution.
Replacing the need to choose between different models, as used to happen in the past, the 7/73 and 10/110 models offer much more operational flexibility from the same machine, as pressure and flow outputs can be selected simply by pushing a button on the keypad, meaning the operator can instantly switch between low pressure and high pressure.
The two models also feature a newly redesigned control panel, whereby switches have been replaced by an eight-button keypad that allows the operator to start and stop the machine, select high or low pressure mode and scroll through the MidPort. The MidPort is a state-of-the-art interactive digital display integrated in the tachometer, allowing access to the machine diagnostics.
