Sorbus International exhibited for the first time at the Landscape 2013 exhibition held in Battersea Park in September.
The stand featured a range of tools and products for use in landscaping and grounds maintenance, with prominence for the award-winning ARS Japanese range of pruning tools and the newly introduced Dutch Metallo range.
The ARS tools, exclusively distributed in the UK by Sorbus, have proved to be highly popular since their introduction say the company.
Established in 1876, ARS produce high quality saws, secateurs, telescopic pruners, shears and loppers with the emphasis on the highest standard of steel production.
Sorbus recently launched the Metallo range from Holland, featuring ergonomically designed pruning tools and comprising everything from shears and secateurs to bypass, anvil and ratchet loppers and axes.
Pruning saws and the very distinctive Metallo knives are made to make cutting fast and easy. The knives are produced in high quality steel from Solingen, Germany and are designed for the horticultural and agricultural industries as well as use by fruit growers and florists. Sorbus has developed from specialising in forestry and arboricutural equipment to Hi Viz and protective clothing and a diversity of products for landscapers, groundscare and contractors.
The product ranges were very well received and sales at and after the show are very encouraging, say Sorbus, with many potential new customers taking an interest in the variety of products the company can offer. Consequently Sorbus have already booked exhibition space for Landscape 2014.
