The Children's Playground Co. Ltd was founded in 2001 to provide high quality play equipment of Robinia wood through the UK and Ireland.
The company's aspiration is to create distinctive, stimulating, imaginative and challenging playgrounds and equipment for children of all abilities.
CPCL believes playgrounds should reflect the needs of their users and works with clients to ensure that playgrounds are individually challenging and unique. The firm offers a high quality design service proven by the many awards and plaudits it has received over the past 14 years.
The design team is led by Rinske Wassenaar a Dutch national, former art teacher and supported by technicians, industrial designers, landscape architects, engineers, graphic designers, all employees.
A snapshot of recent projects, manufactured, designed and installed by the company includes: Ealing Borough Council; Three Rivers District Council; Oxford City Council; Aylesbury, Ashford Council; and Sefton MBC.
The company offers standard and bespoke play equipment, including a network of ropes, nets, ladders, and bridges. This offers a choice of different routes to the equipment with a varying degree of challenge, suitable for all children.
The aim is to create a sense of freedom and social interaction, while also encompassing the latest play design with the highest standards of safety in mind
CPCL encourages the use of natural materials, creating a natural extension of the park landscape, leading children to discover the treasures of the natural environment.
CPCL designs and manufactures all its own equipment and ropes. It is a TUV and ISO certified company.
