DeckWright Anti-Slip achieves DeckMark Plus by TDCA
Demonstrating its high quality credentials, DeckWright Anti-Slip has met the standards of the DeckMark Plus quality assurance and performance scheme, operated by the Timber Decking and Cladding Association.

An independent, not for profit organisation, the TDCA is a UK based technical and advisory body that provides timber decking advice and guidance to a wide variety of businesses and organisations, in addition to individual installers.

To ensure long-lasting and reliable results, the TDCA always recommends using decking products and services that have been awarded its industry leading DeckMark accreditation and provides full details on its website.

Janet Sycamore, director of operations, TDCA comments: "We'd like to congratulate WJ Group on achieving the stringent standards required to enable their DeckWright Anti-Slip brand to achieve the DeckMark Plus recognition. The TDCA works closely with manufacturers and suppliers to maintain and communicate the highest possible specifications available in the timber decking industry and it's great to recognise WJ Group and DeckWright with this standard."

Fully tested and approved, with a PTV of 71, DeckWright Anti-Slip can be machine applied to most specifications of brand new, grooved timber decking, or installers and contractors can choose to retrospectively fit DeckWright Inserts to timber decking that has already been laid, providing a reassuring grip that reduces the risk of slipping on wet decking.

Mark Eggleston, WJ Group MD comments: "DeckMark Plus is the industry standard to demonstrate the best possible credentials with regard to timber decking. We're delighted to have achieved the standard required and the accreditation will offer reassurance to our customers that they are choosing the very best possible solution with regard to anti-slip decking, whether using our anti-slip service or opting for DeckWright Inserts."
