eibe's Green Flag for award-winning Coastal Park
Flying a verdant-shaded flag proudly above an open space is a seal of environmental approval when it comes to Green Flag recognition.

A total of 1,452 parks and spaces were awarded such status in 2013 – one of which eibe has a long association with.

eibe first began working with the Lower Leas Coastal Park over a decade ago and we are delighted to have made further improvements to its play facility recently including additional DDA equipment.

Lower Leas Coastal Park has won a Green Flag Award every year since 2007 – handsome reward for the £2 million pound regeneration project that began back in 1999 and testimony to its desire to still attract visitors.

Working alongside Laura Pinkham, Parks Manager for Shepway District Council, eibe has installed bespoke towers and curvy slides, as well as sand building units, a ship wreck bounty and exciting cableways.

Lower Leas is visited by over 250,000 people a year – some from the local neighbourhood, other regional day trippers and many from further afield.
