Introducing the new tool store to adore
Leading the way in product development and design, commercial van accessories manufacturer Van Guard has revealed its sleek new Tool Store.

Incorporating improved design features in direct response to customer feedback while still delivering cost savings of up to 27%, the new Tool Store is scheduled for launch in the week commencing 22 June.

Renowned for its high quality standards, Van Guard has paid special attention to detail in its new Tool Store design, which comes in three new sizes – to accommodate tool boxes – has fewer rivets, has an improved locking mechanism and sports a sleek new look with Van Guard's stamp of quality.

The product development was facilitated by the company's £250K investment in a Bystronic BySprint 3kw Fiber laser cutter and a 100-tonne capacity Xpert pressbrake from Bystronic UK, giving Van Guard the opportunity to redesign the new Tool Store from a single sheet of metal. This not only offers cost savings to the customer, but is also kinder to the environment by reducing wastage.

National Sales Manager Chris Angel comments: "The tech team have done us proud, making adjustments and improvements in their quest for perfection. Tweaks, such as the introduction of little rubber stoppers to ensure that the lid fits securely, although relatively minor, demonstrate how every detail has been considered. We are confident that Van Guard's new Tool Store will be popular.

"Not only is it a better product, but we can now offer it at a better price. With next-day delivery available and quality production guaranteed, we can also provide quick and efficient customer service."

The newly designed Tool Store is a perfect demonstration of how Van Guard's new machinery is directly benefitting its customers. Never a company to stand still, the firm continues to adapt and improve its product offering to a rapidly changing marketplace. This ability to innovate relies on its dedicated team of designers and engineers, who support a culture of "thinking outside the box".

Following its investment and reshoring its bespoke supplies back to Britain, Van Guard was recognised for its commitment to British manufacturing last year with the Made in Britain accreditation and was shortlisted for Best Small Business in a regional business awards.

It continues to pioneer new processes and products and is set to improve on the design of its Maxrack later in the year.
