Mitie rebrands its landscaping business

Mitie rebrands its landscaping business
Mitie, the facilities management company, has rebranded its landscaping business to reflect its key focus on horticulture and sustainability.

Under the mantra "first impressions count", the new Mitie Landscapes brand highlights Mitie's promise of delivering an excellent, bespoke service in horticultural services, grounds maintenance, winter services and interior office plants to businesses across the UK.

Following an internal launch at The NEC in Birmingham, the new brand has been rolled out onto a new mobile friendly website www.mitielandscapes.com and promoted with a new video featuring Tim Howell, Managing Director of Mitie Landscapes.

The rebrand is the latest event in a successful year for Mitie's landscaping business, following on from a series of major contract wins including Jones Lang LaSalle and the NEC and new senior appointments in the business.

The new branding was created by design agency Luminous, who were also responsible for Mitie's company rebrand in 2014.

Mitie's landscaping business has been in operation since 2002 and sits within the company's larger facilities management business. The business is responsible for maintaining over 6,000 client sites throughout the UK, and its winter gritting service carries out over 300,000 gritting visits per year, which is the most comprehensive service in the UK.

Tim Howell said: "In the last seven years, we've grown from a team of 350 to 700 people, and now our business offering is incomparable.

"Changing the way we present ourselves to the market will strengthen our brand and better engage with people and businesses who want to transform their inside and outside spaces. Sustainability is at the top of the agenda and we have invested in the expertise to help our clients achieve their sustainability objectives for their buildings."
