Momentum is growing for Turf Maintenance LIVE!

Momentum is growing for Turf Maintenance LIVE!
A collaborative event where eight of the UK's leading turf industry suppliers will showcase the latest technology and practices. In its second year, it takes place on Wed, June 1 and Thurs, June 2 at Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School Playing Fields, a stone's throw from Twickenham stadium.

Involved are GKB Machines; Husqvarna; Martin Lishman; Ransomes; Rigby Taylor; Shelton Drainage, Wessex International and Wiedenmann UK. Visitors will be able to meet with suppliers and have the opportunity to see the latest innovations and equipment in action. Very many of the machines and products featured will be demonstrated live.

The event is being supported by BIGGA, IOG and the STRI. Visitors will be able to claim CPD points for their attendance. Entrance to the event is free but pre-registration is essential and this can be done by either telephoning 0141 814 3366 or completing a registration form online at www.turfmaintenancelive.com.

Opening time is 10.00 am but for those with early morning duties to attend it is also possible to arrive at lunchtime and stay until close at 3.00pm.

Already dozens have signed up so whether you are a groundsman, greenkeeper, grounds administrator or landscaper, the event offers the opportunity to view at a single location a range of machines and equipment in action and discuss at first hand the benefits and features with participating company specialists. All the participating companies are highly respected names within the industry and together bring a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Whether your interest is in turf aeration, scarifying, spraying, mowing, drainage, line marking, fertilizer spreading and much more...

This is the "˜LIVE' event that should not be missed!

Here's what some of last year's attendees said:
Daniel White IOG, Regional Pitch Advisor (East)
"˜well planned and executed'

Adi Porter, Course Manager, Greetham Valley GC
'Thoroughly enjoyed it and thought the informality of it all really worked well'

Martin Knight, Head Groundsman, Worcester Warriors

Steve Mason, Course Manager, Stocks GC
'Would visit again, I travelled 84 miles and particularly thought the live demonstration idea was a good one,'

Parking is at Twickenham Stadium – North Car Park D, TW1 1DG or there are lots of public transport options for Twickenham.
