As part of their 25 year celebrations CTS have launched a new Non-Slip Decking product range called Hi-Grip Extra. This unique product has a wide non-slip strip across the centre of a timber deck board providing an enhanced and smoother slip resistant surface that is ideal for disabled users, wheelchairs, cyclists as well as pedestrians. The Hi-Grip Extra Deck boards are supplied in hardwood and softwood and available with FSC accreditation. Independent tests on the bonded resin/aggregate non-slip prove they provide more than double the slip resistance required for walkway surfaces. A choice of aggregate colours is available and a free cutting service provided which saves the customer time when fixing on site.
CTS Bridges are a UK industry leader in the manufacture of decking, bridges and bespoke structures. Established in 1988 by Chartered Civil Engineers Ian Preston and John Terry they have reached their quarter of a century milestone and are celebrating 25 years in business this month.
CTS Bridges (originally named Concrete and Timber Services Ltd) is based in Shepley, Huddersfield, an ideal location for delivering all over the UK. In addition to the Hi-Grip Decking range, the company also specialises in design, manufacture and installation of steel or timber footbridges, bespoke landscape structures, lock gates and decking.
John Terry - Director of CTS said "It has been an exciting 25 years. When the company started, nobody had a mobile phone, letters were being typed on typewriters and all correspondence was sent by post. CTS has embraced innovations in technology and looking forward we are now introducing new products to our extensive range and see this as an exciting development.
