With the launch of
their latest innovative multi-purpose maintenance vehicle, Multihog
have demonstrated once and for all that bigger doesn't always mean
better!
Measuring from as
little as 1150mm wide with a low profile from just 1975mm high the
new Multihog CX Series is testament to the times in that technology
comes in ever smaller packages.
However, despite its
compact size the machine packs a punch, with 100 litres of hydraulic
flow per minute rivalling much larger traditional tractors units.
Available with a 55 or
75HP ultra-fuel efficient and environmentally friendly Tier IV final
engine, anyone with a standard UK driving license can comfortably
travel to site on the public highway with road assisted suspension
whilst moving at 40km/h.
In addition, the new CX
Series has both a hydraulic feed as well as a mechanical PTO shaft as
standard, adding to Multihog's ever expanding versatility by
enabling users to utilise a wider range of attachments than ever
before, which is aided further with a standard 3-point linkage setup
which was previously not normally a feature on most Multihog models.
Easily interchangeable
attachments available include; flail arm mowers, flail deck mowers,
rotary mowers, cylinder mowers, chemical free weed control system and
cut-collect mower, with all out-front deck, providing superior
visibility and superb quality of cut.
Towable to site or
alternatively can tow an impressive 3500kg to site, significantly
enhancing operational efficiency with the single machine able to
arrive with a range of attachments carrying out a number of services
in a single shift, avoiding costly returns to depot or increased
labour costs.
Operator
comfort and ease of operation is maximised with the Multihog CX range
consistent with original models, boasting a 360-degree visibility,
spacious, air conditioned/heated cab, whilst manoeuvrability is made
easy through the cabs articulated design, four-wheel drive system and
same track pivot steering.
