Trailflex is a SUDS compliant porous paving alternative to standard asphalt or tarmac created using recycled car tyres, mixed using a special Trailflex resin binder for a durable, low-cost surface for a wide range of commercial and domestic applications.
The rubber properties of Trailflex allow the surface to flex to 90° without damaging the surface, whilst maintaining its full strength. This is to allow the material to adapt to the contours of the landscape, especially in areas that are exposed to tree root intrusion, to prevent trips and falls for pedestrians.
Like other products from Langford Direct Ltd., Trailflex is highly porous and can accept up to 50,000 litres of water per square metre of surface per hour, making it a fast and cost-effective storm water management system. The material has been developed over many years to offer such great benefits and carries a ten year continuous porosity guarantee.
