Entering application information into the user-friendly pre-design tool will define the product code and the pin density needed to ensure a stable structure or the correct product to build a retaining wall.
TERRAM GEOCELL is a 3D cellular confinement solution ideal for use in construction and civil engineering projects for erosion control, soil stabilisation on flat ground and slopes, load platforms, tree root protection, channel protection, and structural reinforcement for load support and earth retention.
The innovative solution is suitable for multiple applications, including the construction of highways, railways, landfills, pipelines and in landscape engineering, allowing for the free flow of water, reducing project costs and minimising the impact on the environment.
TERRAM GEOCELL products not only ensure construction projects can blend into the surrounding environment with minimal ecological impact, they can be integral in maximising stability, with the supported vegetation cover acting as a natural anchor, protecting surfaces from weather erosion.
Manufactured from permeable geotextile fabric, TERRAM GEOCELL products allow for the passage of airflow and water to provide essential nutrients to roots, preventing root rot - making them ideal for Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS).
Supplied as flat pack panels, which are expanded on site to form a honeycomb-like structure, products can be filled with local compactable infill such as sand, soil, rock or other site material, reducing transport and installation costs, as well as the impact on the environment. Flexibility and strength eliminate the potential for cracking, spalling, splintering and corrosion commonly seen in concrete, steel and timber systems.
A cost-effective alternative to conventional earth retention structures, the TERRAM GEOCELL range is lightweight and easy to handle, as it can be easily cut to size on site reducing costs further still. It is adaptable to terrain and can be formed around trees and other obstacles.
