Timberland PRO has winter working all wrapped up
Timberland PRO has got winter working all wrapped up for those in construction, maintenance and other professional outdoor trades with a range of winter  jackets designed to provide essential protection against the elements.

Central to the winter working range is the Timberland PRO 114, a truly high performance 3-in-1 Parka that offers outstanding protection against the cold, wind and rain, enabling workers to stay warm and dry even in sub-zero temperatures.

A Parka, Rain jacket and Fleece all in one, yet extremely lightweight and comfortable, durability comes from a specially manufactured and hard wearing 100% Nylon Polyamide twill on the outer shell.

The Timberland PRO 114 is certified against cold environments (EN 14058) and foul weather (EN 343), thanks to a specialist membrane ensuring it is waterproof and breathable. Warmth is further enhanced through the micro-polar fleece enabling the Timberland PRO 114 wearer to work outdoors for up to one hour at minus 16.8°C or to work for up to eight hours at minus 6°C.

Joining it is the new hiking-inspired softshell Timberland PRO® 134 jacket, designed with a fabric incorporating a specialist rip-stop weaving which provides extremely strong tear and abrasion resistance ensuring durability in tough working environments.

Underneath there is a soft fleece lining which has been bonded inside adding extra warmth without extra weight. To protect against the elements, the outer shell of the Timberland PRO 134 jacket has been treated with a durable water repellent coating and, following feedback from customers, a fleece-lined, adjustable hood has been added. Other weather-proofing features include a wrist fastening system and toggles on the hood as well as waist enabling the wearer to adjust the softshell to provide individually tailored windproof performance.

Functionality features include the audio cable system with eyelet from the internal pocket and loop at the top of the zip enabling a hands-free mobile phone kit or headphones to be used comfortably and safely when out on site. Using its knowledge of working environments and the fact they are often dirty and dusty, the zip on the Timberland PRO 134 has been designed inside out, effectively reversing it onto the inside behind a lining so that dirt doesn't get stuck inside, increasing its lifespan.

Completing the new winter coat line up is the Timberland PRO 132 Parka. With a plain weave 100% polyester fabric which is light yet abrasion resistant, this parka has been specifically adapted for the needs of the construction sector and is ideal for those requiring occasional rain protection, with a hood that  is integrated inside the collar. Warm and comfortable thanks to its taffeta lining, there is also fleece inside the bottom pockets and a short cut designed to guarantee good freedom of movement when working out on site. Reflective piping has also been added to enhance the visibility of workers in poor outdoor light.
