DJ Turfcare report a very good show in all respects at this year’s SALTEX.
The number of visitors to their stand on opening was exceptional and resulted in a large number of orders taken in the first hour.
The trend continued throughout the two days of the show. On display were the latest Bushranger Edger, the Atom Professional Lawn Edger and the Viano professional range of organic fertilisers.
The Bushranger Edger E35 is a robust machine specifically designed for local authority and contracting work and is powered by a 3.1hp Kawasaki FJ100 four-stroke OHV engine.
The low-noise edger features a ‘dead man’s handle’ for safety with reduced operator hand fatigue and has very low vibration boasting an Exposure Limit Value of over eight hours per day. The cutting depth has seven settings up to 72mm/2.85” and the cutter head tilts left and right to provide several different angles for border edging.
For groundsmen and turfcare professionals looking to save time and increase profitability the Atom Professional Lawn Edger is a popular choice. With its easy manoeuvrability around bends and in tight corners it is lightweight and gives a fast cut along grass verges and lawn edges, curbs and gutters. It may be light but it’s robustly built with a powerful 34cc Komatsu-Zenoah commercial engine and a four blade hardened spring steel cutting system. Low vibration helps reduce operator fatigue and the wheelbarrow action makes cutting around obstacles and along walls and fences an easy task.
“We had a really good show,” says DJ Turfcare MD David Jenkins, “with lots of enquiries and an unprecedented number orders for machines taken at the show. Our Viano professional organic fertilisers were also very well received and many orders were taken for these as well.”
DJ Turfcare is the exclusive UK distributor of Viano organic fertilisers, comprising the Turf Professional and Growers Professional ranges, together with the award-winning MO Bacter, the organic fertiliser for lawns and moss infestation.
