Honda brings down the curtain on 2017 RHS show season

Honda (UK) will bring down the curtain on its 2017 RHS show season at Tatton Park next week, offering show-goers their last chance to benefit from some very special offers.

Those in the market for a robotic lawn mower might well find the Honda stand at Tatton the place to pick one up, with Honda offering a complimentary cordless lawn trimmer, battery and charger, worth £345, for anyone buying a Miimo at the show.

Speaking of cordless, Honda will also throw in a free battery and charger, worth £160, for all orders taken on its new high-performance lithium-ion battery powered lawn trimmer and hedge trimmer – both fresh from achieving Which? ‘Best Buy’ status - and its powerful, quiet and light leaf blower.

Finally, Honda will be running its popular Tidy offer campaign with savings of up to £400 on selected products, and with all buyers picking up a free pair of Briers gardening gloves. Tatton Park will also be the last opportunity to take part in the Garden Discovery Trail to be in with a chance of winning a £1,000 e-voucher for Honda’s official online store.

Aside from some very attractive last-chance deals, Honda’s stand at Tatton Park will take visitors on a journey through the brand’s unique ‘Engineering for Life’ philosophy. Littered across the stand will be plenty of facts underpinning this long-held brand pillar of using engineering excellence to create high-quality, user-friendly products with outstanding reliability and durability, in the most sustainable manner.

Quirky snippets include the fact that Honda sent an engineer round the world for six months, briefed to study every type of grass before he put pen to paper to design the perfect mower blade. Plus, rather than using rubber seals on brushcutters, Honda uses the same bearings as those used by NASA on its space programme to cope with dust, heat and ultra-high-speed work.

Visitors will also learn that Honda engineers designed a lawn mower blade that will twist instead of breaking, avoiding pieces of broken blade flying into your machine and causing untold expensive damage; and that its hedge trimmer blades are cut by lasers and ground with diamond to create the perfect straight-line finish.

Steve Morris, Head of Power Products for Honda (UK) is looking forward to welcoming visitors to Honda’s last RHS show of the season, commenting: “It’s been a great season and we’ve all really enjoyed getting out in the fresh air and meeting customers old and new.

"The line-up is going from strength to strength with new products widening Honda’s appeal, and there’s nothing better than hearing first-hand what our customers have to say. We look forward to finishing up the RHS show season with a bang next week at Tatton Park.”
