STRI Group and The R&A are encouraging all eco-friendly golf clubs, regardless of their size and scale of project, to enter the industry’s leading environmental awards before the closing date of Friday, July 21.
The Golf Environment Awards provide the platform from which the golf industry can demonstrate environmental excellence in all its forms.
Set up in 1995, the GEA recognise and reward clubs for their outstanding conservation efforts which work towards improving their surrounding environment and local ecology.
The main categories are:
The Golf Environment Awards and Operation Pollinator are managed and administered by STRI and The R&A and each entry is independently judged, not on the scale of the project nor their financial investment, but on the golf club’s achievements.
Entry is easy, completely free and open to all golf clubs and courses across the UK, big or small.
You can enter by completing the Entry Form or alternatively, print the downloadable GEA Entry Form 2018 and send it in the post to Golf Environment Awards, STRI Group, St Ives Estate, Bingley, BD16 1AU.
