Caterpillar introduces its first inverter generator

Caterpillar designed the new Cat INV2000 with professional performance and safety features.

A parallel kit will be available, enabling users to connect two INV2000 units together, to double power output.

The INV2000 produces 1800 watts rated and 2000 maximum watts-Noise levels are 59-69 dB (depending on load) – which translates to barely-there white-noise in most environments.

At only 22.2 kg, the INV2000 is easily portable. Intuitive controls, including the easy-start switch with integrated choke, multiple outlets and indicator lights are located on the front panel. LED illumination of the control panel offers convenient night operation.

With two 230V-13A outlets, this generator has two built-in USB ports for charging phones, tablets and Bluetooth speakers. Also features a 12V battery charging outlet with a cable, for charging automotive style batteries.

Built with a fuel efficient 79.7cc overhead valve engine, the Engine Smart Control mode adjusts the power output to automatically control fuel consumption and noise based on load, giving users 6 hours of continuous run time on one fuel tank (at 50% load).

Dual access doors provide easy access. The oil fill design enables completely dripless oil filling and draining.

The INV2000 is covered by a 3-year warranty and is available to purchase at select retailers.
