Brewin Dolphin wins People's Choice Award at RHS Chatsworth Flower Show for second consecutive year

Wealth manager Brewin Dolphin has won the People's Choice Award at the RHS Chatsworth Flower Show for the second consecutive year, this time in the Installations category with The Brewin Dolphin Installation, designed by Paul Hervey-Brookes.

Influenced by an eighteenth century village that once stood in the grounds of Chatsworth House, the conceptual Installation encourages visitors to think of the landscape that existed before the arrival of Capability Brown’s famous vistas, and to question our relationship to time and the natural world.

Featuring plants that would have grown at the time of the village, the Installation gives visitors the chance to experience the horticulture of the past and see it in direct contrast to the current landscape. The timber pavilion, which acts as a centre point to the space, uses the structural shapes of the lost houses, whilst elsewhere, immersed amongst dense areas of colourful planting, wooden sculptures represent people who have come and gone across the landscape over time.
