Control have consolidated their long-term growth in the Amenity sales sector
with a new warehouse and training facility right next door to their current
office and BASIS-approved storage facility.
Growing from small,
humble beginnings many years ago and as one of the pioneers of online sales –
Progreen now employs a local workforce to run an expanding business, including;
sales, packing, NSK qualified storekeepers, BASIS/ FACTS qualified technical
advisors and Marketing specialists.
The range of over
500 products available to order online or by phone includes; pesticides,
fertilisers, grass seed and equipment - boasting brand names such as; Kurtail
Gold, Cooper Pegler and Amvista fertilisers which are regularly updated and the
range of products increased.
Progreen has always
been active in training and in 2017/18 that provision increased considerably
with bespoke, on-site courses for several major UK companies, BASIS NSK
training delivered (and planned for 2018) plus the usual range of PA Pesticide
courses on behalf of City & Guilds, such as PA1, PA6, stem injection and
Ecoplugs.
A new, purpose-built
training room, in the new premises, has already seen several courses through
its doors and allows Progreen to offer ever more flexible training solutions
for small, medium and large businesses.
