Yanmar Construction
Equipment Europe (CEE) has reaffirmed its commitment to the UK and Ireland
construction market, through a comprehensive programme of investment and
expansion.
The compact equipment
specialist aims to further increase access to its competitive portfolio of
loaders, excavators and carriers, via a dynamic distribution strategy.
The move will see
Yanmar appoint a national dealer network, helping to closely control product
distribution. A rejuvenated focus on the UK and Ireland market complements the
company’s acquisition of Terex Compact Germany GmbH, which strengthens Yanmar’s
product range and provides a unique offer to construction professionals
worldwide.

In order to focus on
delivering its strategic intention, Yanmar has mutually agreed not to renew its
long-term UK and Ireland distribution contract with A&Y Equipment Ltd.
Appointments to the new dealer network will be communicated over the coming weeks.
