The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) is inviting park and landscape managers, along with other key stakeholders, to take part in an all-day event on 26 September at the studio in Birmingham.
Delivered by the Landscape Institute, in association with the Parks Action Group, West Midlands Parks Forum and The Parks Alliance, this is a day of learning and development for people who manage natural spaces of all scales – from urban parks and green spaces to national parks and designated landscapes.
The free conference will explore the future of our parks and landscapes and the challenges they face, and share insight and innovation from across the sector, in the UK and abroad.
During the event you can learn more about the skills and tools vital to securing the benefits of parks and landscapes: partnership brokering, community empowerment, big data and natural capital accounting.
Also, there will be opportunity to make and debate the business case for parks, introducing new approaches and building the skills we need to tackle to challenges they face in the 21st Century.
