Representing a first for the fencing sector, Birkdale’s DuraPost by FENCEMATE is an innovative galvanised steel fence post system that provides a durable, lightweight and wind-resistant alternative to wooden and concrete fence posts.
Manufactured from cold-rolled galvanised steel, DuraPost is capable of withstanding wind speeds of up to 110 miles per hour.
What’s more, the system will not rot, split or warp in extreme weather so it provides a much stronger alternative to timber while also being up to 80% lighter than concrete alternatives. This makes the solution not only safer than concrete to carry and install but easier to transport in bulk. For added peace of mind the posts are individually wrapped to prevent any scratches during transport.
Aesthetically, DuraPost is available in four colour options with matching accessories: Anthracite Grey, Olive Grey, Sepia Brown and Galvanised Steel. Furthermore, the system is compatible with a wide range of fence panels and virtually any onsite fencing.
DuraPost is guaranteed for up to 25 years and doesn’t require any maintenance throughout its lifecycle.
